Today’s travel theme is gaudy. The word gaudy has a negative connotation; its definition is cited as “extravagantly bright or showy, typically so as to be tasteless.” I wouldn’t necessarily say tasteless (taste is subjective, after all!), but I would definitely say this dress qualifies as bright and showy! This photo was taken in Barranquilla, Colombia during the Carnival festivities. The gown was showcased in the lobby of the hotel I stayed in. I could definitely imagine this number being a showstopper in one of the many Carnival parades!

Any girl would look “HOT” in that!
haha I think the theme song for this dress would be “Girl On Fire” by Alicia Keys
“That’s SO Hawttt!” said in a Jersey Girl accent. Haahhaha
I’m pretty sure Katniss wore that in the Hunger Games.
Perhaps in the high school musical version of Hunger Games
