Bogota

Yesterday evening we went out in the Zona Rosa, which is home to a large mall, and many restaurants and bars. We hung out at Andres Carne de Res, which has four different levels of fun! When visitors from other countries arrive, they give out sashes and crowns, and serenade them with music – cheesy, but right up my alley!

This morning we went to Usuquen, a small colonial village north of the city. The center of the town is a green square, flanked by a large church. There is also a flea market and shopping area housed in a former hacienda.

I’ll be back in Bogota at the end of my stay in Colombia. Next up, Medellin!
